I have been caravanning for 18 years and have found I am lost for words to express how fantastic this site is , I agree with all the previous reviews this is a 5 star plus site , but when you take into account the welcome you get from the owners , you have a totally unrivalled caravan touring park , and credit to its owners. The views from the site of the Devon countryside have no rivals , the night sky’s here are perfect for star gazing there is no night light pollution.
Please do-not take my word for it come and see for yourself , you will not be disappointed .

The prettiest and cleanest campsite we’ve come across in England!

My Mom has been travelling through England numerous times since 1988 and said Appledore was her all-time favourite stay.

This was our 3rd visit to Appledore, the last being in 2014. We wondered if the same high standard would be met now that the park is a few years old, but we needn’t have worried. The high standards were still in place reflected by the awards won. The trees in the secured dog walk are now more established with a drinking point for any thirsty pooch. They have even installed a dog shower outside of the amenity block. Will definitely be coming back.

Back to work with a bump this week following a lovely Caravan break in Cornwall last week … We used Appledore as a one night stop over on Friday 8th June … and I simply had to write to you on my return home ..

We have been campers for a number of years and now upgraded to the comforts of our Touring Caravan , so we have stayed on many sites over many years but we both agreed Appledore is now in at Number One …. I simply can not praise you enough (sadly our Geographic’s would limit our chances to return regularly) …. PERFECT Location with easy Access from A30 … The site is so well thought out and so well laid out … and maintained to an immaculate standard … believe us second to none … the whole site is an absolute credit to you …

All of this is reflected in our review on UKCAMPSITE … and anywhere else I can add it because it is worthy of the praise …. I won’t waffle on and consume any more of your time but I simply had to write to you to thank you for your hospitality.
