Fishing At Appledore Park’s Wildlife Pond
Fishing In Our Lake
When you stay at Appledore Park campsite, you can go fishing any time you want in our own sizeable wildlife pond. In fact we would wholeheartedly encourage this if fishing is your particular passion. Whilst we have a bounty of the wonderful species of course fish in the pond, such as the beautiful and quite rare Mirror Carp pictured above, you may find your angling experience requires that you go farther afield in search of bigger fish, if you can excuse the pun. With this in mind we have for your convenience featured the best and most popular ‘official fishing lakes’ in the area. These local fisheries are very close to Appledore Park and it’s an easy drive to get to them. Whatever you decide, as per fishermen’s protocol, make sure you exaggerate the size of your catch!
